If the purpose of life is to attain godliness, then why do souls want to come to this world and take birth inside human bodies?
It does not make sense since the emotions, vices, lusts, addictions, etc… of the physical human being are getting in way of the soul from attaining godliness.
Why not come into this world as a fish or tree that does not have lusts, passions, emotions that prevent the soul from reaching godliness?
Or are only human souls an extension of God? Which again by my understanding of the weekend’s lectures also does not make sense if souls are eternal and they have no form so there can be no such thing as a “human” soul
On the contrary emotions are a key to attain godliness by regulating them, emotions are keys and opportunities in attaining godliness. The human soul is bare potential which lies at the helm of all souls, as if the peak of the evolutionary cycle of souls therefore it is a culmination of every soul coming together (like the mineral soul, vegetable soul, animal soul)
